Alfredo has been wonderful to work with. He does a great job keeping lessons fun, engaging, and age-appropriate, which has really helped my daughter stay interested and motivated. He is patient, encouraging, and makes learning Spanish feel enjoyable rather than intimidating. We especially appreciate how he builds her confidence and creates a positive learning environment where she feels comfortable participating and making mistakes. I don’t know if it’s because he shares the same birthday with my 7-year-old son, but they connected so naturally from the very beginning. My son met a few different teachers and chose him because he really liked his energy and teaching style.
He is modern, engaging, and knows how to use technology in a way that keeps kids interested and excited to learn. My son is always asking me, “When is my Spanishlesson?” and happily runs to the computer when it’s time.
We are so happy we found him and truly hope they can continue learning together for a long time. I would love for my son to grow up feeling confident and comfortable speaking Spanish.

I came into this with a basic foundation of Spanish due to high school and college so I was worried that it was either going to be too easy or too hard based on what I didn’t learn right the first time. Professor Blanchette makes it you feel relaxed and you’re very very comfortable. I am not uncomfortable in any way in speaking Spanish with him because he never ever makes you feel dumb. I am having the best time learning Spanish so that I can move out of the United States. You will never ever regret your decision to study with him. You move at the pace you need to learn and no faster. He gives you as much homework as you want, and he checks it and goes over it with you. I could not be any happier and I cannot recommend professor Blanchette enough.

I give very accessible prices since my main goal is for people to learn, and it makes me very happy to share what I know in both languages
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I adapt myself to whatever makes the student feel comfortable with. Some prefer to learn with a workbook and some others prefer to explore new methods like music, culture, conversation, news, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied grammar in English and Spanish for over 10 years, and I have experience in teaching and helping other people translate, understand and express themselves in both languages
