FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straightforward, accounting for travel time, size and market for the property. I'm neither the cheapest nor most expensive photographer out there. My pricing is based not only on the shoot, but hours of editing and processing of the shot in HDR. I don't work for an out-of-state assembly line photo mill. Each shoot is an affordable, custom job. The only additional fee might be for travel outside my immediate area, east of 95 from Pompano to Dania. Sometimes, too, a client will request shot at dusk or nighttime, essentially a second shoot. Naturally there will be a charge. For MLS, etc., I will provide you with a placeholder shot edited within hours. The rest, watermarked, will be delivered in 24-48 hours for approval. On payment, usually via PayPal (you don't need an account), the images will be released without watermarks.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll refer the customer to my portfolio so they can assure themselves my style meets with their approval. I'll also provide them with a staging guide for photo shoots which I encourage them to share with their clients. Adequate preparation for the shoot saves everyone's time, avoids common missteps and, as a bonus, coaxes their clients to put their property in order. I'll ask for the specific address so I can determine the best time of day and sun angles for the shoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education and training will only get one so far. Experience counts. My background is in broadcasting and print advertising.
