FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
From childhood, I was always artistic. I always had pencils and crayons in my hand. I graduated from NYU with an art degree. I freelanced my designs and eventually turned my interests to home and landscape design. I was trained by real professionals in their prospective fields rather than in a classroom. I have an extensive background in many aspects of interior design and the installation process. My husband and I have renovated many homes as investments. The renovations included every aspect of the homes, by the way which were all out of date. I designed the interior and the exterior of the home. It is my philosophy that the entire home must flow from the outside to the inside and back to the outside , this is how we live in South Florida, isnt it?
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A client hired me to create a "man cave" for her husband. He LOVES 60s rock n roll, so I created a slick modern space but show casing his favorite memorabilia complete with black lights and Jimi Hendrix art. The client was so blown away...it was just like on the HGTV "reveals"...they are ecstatic!! SO much so that the client hired me to design a new living and dining room. The living and dining are complete so she hired me to design a home office space that we just completed. THEN, they sold their home and bought a brand new home in Palm Beach. I am still in the process of designing their new home!!! Moral of the story, happy client =repeat business!!!
