It is a unique method of learning that is modified depending on each student's need. Not every method suits every person. I love watching my students advance and I love watching them enjoy what they are learning. I feel passionate about languages, it's so amazing to be able to communicate with other people in their native language. Communication is simply not the same when you do so. People appreciate it more, and it gives you the opportunity to learn much more about the culture of each country. I have spent over forty years mastering the grammar in the languages I teach; and the only thing I can say is that the more I learn, the more I fall in love with each of these languages. I believe in transmitting what I feel so passionate about. For me, teaching a language is not "just a job", it is something I enjoy with all my heart, and I enjoy even more seeing my students improve with each class and finally seeing them become fluent... and happy about it! Most recently, I created a podcast entirely in Spanish, designed for advanced learners. Although not focused on grammar, it supports and strengthens their oral comprehension skills.
