When I needed a web app developed I searched for the best possible team. When I found TRIM I knew I found the team for me. They brought an element of creativity and made my ideas fit what I had in mind. They brought insight and life into a beautiful and functional way. The team at TRIM was fully engaged in my project and I knew exactly what was happening on my project week to week. They have a highly talented UX/UI team and their developers are all experienced and easy to talk to. If you need any type of development they are absolutely the team for you. I can’t thank TRIM enough for their amazing work.

The team at TRIM brought my idea for a memory app called Soulments to life in such a beautiful and functional way. I am a solo, non-tech founder who greatly benefited from my partnership with TRIM. They bring tremendous insight to the ever changing world of tech and brought the overall design and features of Soulments to levels I couldn't have envisioned on my own. Their highly talented developer and UX/UI team work together to make magic happen!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about TRIM! I hired them to help develop a web app and they were by-far the best choice. I have worked with other teams in the past but the team at TRIM went above and beyond my expectations. I knew exactly what was happening on my project week to week and I had full access to their team while we were building the app. We have validated the early concept and are now continuing with the next version. If you need a custom app built I wouldnt recommend anyone other than TRIM.

Technology is tough. And when youre trying to create something with very little knowledge of the industry it can be a daunting task. Developing apps is complicated. Throw in the fact the Trim team has to bring an element of creativity to the design aspect and make it fit what the client has in mind and they are basically trying to climb Mount Everest. I have enjoyed having the team at Trim to guide me up the mountain. Sure there are times when Ive been confused but I accept responsibility for my ignorance and cling to their team to walk me through the technical aspects. There are times in the process where they did something that I did not like creatively. But theyre starting in the dark and I understand theyll need my feedback in order to move in the right direction. Again this is all a normal part of the process. And lets be honest these things, if done well, are not cheap. Sure, your nephew who lives on your sisters couch may know how to survive Fortnight until the end and he may tell you he can build you an app. He cant. Take it from me, when it comes to technology you must invest what you hope to get. If youre cheap and youre looking for cheap clients its OK to get cheap work. But if youre looking to really grow your business and find that innovation and technology are imperative to your success hire Trim. Also note, as they work on your project you may find you want to add things or take things away. This will change the cost on the project. Time is money and whether you are adding an element or taking one away, it takes time for them to do the work. You should expect to pay for that work. They say men are from Mars and women are from Venus. I think its the same for technical designers and the rest of the world. Its hard to be in their shoes when people like me arent sure how to explain what we want. Its hard for them to work with someone who has creative ideas but doesnt understand what it takes to technically bring those ideas to life. Ive been very pleased with my experience with Trim. Everything was in writing and explained to me upfront. Their contract is rather straightforward and explains their process nicely. They have kept me in the loop every step of the way. I highly recommend them but would also recommend you do your homework. Make sure you understand what you want and try to create a basic wire frame on paper or in a diagram to explain what you are wanting your app to do. It doesnt have to be fancy but its best to have a starting point you can look at visually. This isnt required as theyll help you figure that out if youre not sure. But its only fair that you would pay them for that step. Finally I would like to say I am comfortable enough to refer my clients to them. Its not something I do often especially with big ticket items. I dont lose any sleep at night because I know everybody at Trim will take care of my clients the same way they take care of me. If you need any type of development you can stop looking. This is your team.

Hired them to build a iOS mobile application and was by far the worst experience. This company has terrible transparency, have developers with subpar skillsets and charged clients as if they are a top of the line firm. Not only do they charge on a hourly rate but they dont produce what you ask for and always find ways to blame the reasons why on the clients instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes. I wouldnt recommend my worst enemy to hire them. This firm should not be allowed to work as they will deplete your bank account and all aspirations.
T R I M's reply
We decided to no longer work on this project after a short duration of work when the client was on a very tight deadline. We refunded this client and asked that we no longer work together shortly after for two primary reasons: First, their first version that was built in India was of unacceptable quality. Despite our review of the code, they refused to accept that diagnosis. Secondly, this project is a gambling app, and the concept was presented as though it was not. Once we realized that this client has no interest in considering our technical opinion, and that they would have many challenges in getting this project through the App Store due to its legality and our stance on gambling apps, we decided that we were not the right team for them. Unfortunately, this review is a reaction to us parting ways, and is no way an indication of our process or work product--both of which were ignored during our relationship together. We wish you the best, Mike.
