FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We use Xactimate, a nationally recognized estimating software used by insurance companies across the U.S. Our prices are not made up—they are based on industry-standard rates. We offer free inspections, transparent estimates, and no hidden fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We aim to keep our customers as comfortable and confident as possible throughout the process. We understand the stress these situations can bring, and we take on that burden so you don’t have to. We start with a free inspection and guide you step-by-step through the full scope of work. Once the estimate is approved via email and documents are signed, we schedule the start date based on your preferred working hours, days, and access instructions. We prepare the property and begin the remediation promptly—working efficiently, cleanly, and with great attention to detail. Throughout the entire process, we keep you informed to provide peace of mind and address any questions or concerns.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is IICRC-certified in water damage restoration, mold remediation, and fire/smoke restoration. I personally worked as a Storm Manager at one of the nation’s largest restoration companies for over 6 years before founding The Disaster Recovery Team. We stay up to date with the latest industry standards, safety protocols, and remediation techniques to ensure top-quality service on every project.
