FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a doctor of clinical and forensic psychology AND a certified coach practitioner. Patients can contact me for a free consultation to determine what type of service they need. If patients do not have insurance, I will discuss a reduction in my fees. I do accept insurance plans that are PPO as an out of network provider. I am a Medicare provider. Those who have an HMO will have to pay out of pocket as I am not on any insurance panels.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the client for an initial 90-minute consultation I take a full history to determine their needs - and then we get started by the next session. I typically provide "homework" in the first session for the client to complete to assist me in getting to know them quicker to save time and money in the long run.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being a clinical psychologist required me to earn a 7-year degree as a doctor. With that said, I also earned TWO Master's degrees (one in Human relations and one in psychology). I have a double doctorate (clinical psychology and forensic psychology). I graduated all with distinction. Further, I have a certification as a coaching practitioner. I keep up with all continuing education and learn from the guru's in relationship counseling (Gottman Relationship Institute), addictions, eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, etc. I have my continuing educational courses listed in my websites.
