FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
You can never learn enough. I have a bookshelf full of photography books at home that constantly has a new addition. There are always new techniques to be learned and the best way to implement them is by practicing. The only way to stand out and be the best is to never assume you know everything and are the best. You need to always challenge yourself to go the next level, that is best way to ensure success.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was younger I used to drive my parent crazy because I would always be taking pictures. After I got married my husband encouraged me to follow my dream and take pictures. I started off with my family and friends and as I practiced and took classes and researched I learned new techniques and developed my brand of photography. I love classic photography, those portraits are ageless and beautiful. But, I've always been the creative type and themed shoots slowly creeped their way into my portfolio and I discovered that I loved also love creating one of kind portraits be they themed, underwater or whatever the client chooses. I'm always up for new challenge.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I do for clients are baby bump portrait sessions, engagement sessions, family portraits, wedding and quince portrait sessions and parties, and themed portrait sessions.
