I am very experienced in the business of pet sitting and dog walking. Since starting my business over 10 years ago, I have learned so much about pet care. Being a pet owner myself I fully understand the need to know that your pet is in safe and reliable hands. Which is why I always make sure my customers are updated daily on the care of their pet. I am also insured and bonded which not all pet sitters or dog walkers can say they are. My rates are competitive compared to other professional Sitters and boarding facilities. My top priority is always the pet I am caring for! I have braved blizzards and hurricanes to make sure the pets under my care are safe.
The fact that I get to work with dogs, cats and so many other wonderful pets everyday is truly a blessing. My passion has always been animals and now that I have started this business and I get to work around the one thing I love most, I could not ask for a better job.

Desirea took the time to meet us and our pets. She answered all questions. She provided text updates when she visited them, and both our cat and our dog were well-cared for in our absence. We will definitely use her services in the future! A++ recommendation from us !!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the client and their pet in their home for a free consultation. I enjoy speaking with them and answering any questions they have for me while I also learn the proper procedure to care for their pet and get to know their pet personally. After questions are answered and all seemed comfortable I go over the paperwork with them and then finally schedule the client for their first trial visit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have volunteered at animal rescue centers, Petco and animal shelters.
I have worked for other pet sitters and gained experience from professional sitters.
I learned from a vet how to administer insulin medication and tips for administering oral medication as well
I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over seven years and have gained valuable knowledge and experience along the way.
