What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don’t work by the hour or by the day. It can create an awkward relationship with my customers and my it takes away my motivation to work fast.
I estimate a completion price based on $65-$90/hour + materials. I work very hard to stick to my estimate price and I rarely go over it. Every job has unforeseen challenges and if they affect the final price I inform my customers asap.
