FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was teacher and mentor to students and parents alike for many years. I was also the "go to" person for many of my friends when they had things going on in their lives that wasn't working for them. The more I helped people in those ways, the more I enjoyed it and then I began to enjoy teaching academics less and less. So, being a believer in the Law of Attraction I took the leap and at 57 years old began a new career path.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I would say initially it is help with time management. When they first come to me many of my clients are so stressed from their hectic schedules that they really don't even know what specifically they want to change in their lives. The next most pressing issue they have, I would say is self esteem. When you truly believe that you are worthy or deserving of something, it is much easier to be motivated to take the necessary action.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The best thing I can share with someone looking for a life coach is that a life coach should NOT tell you what to do. The coach should help you to develop, through thoughtful questing, your own plan of action. Of course they can gently offer advice along the way, but the core of what needs to be done should come from the client not the coach. That way the client can begin to take back control of their life and feel more empowered.
