I've really been enjoying my experience with Fun-Filled love. It has actually been very uplifting and encouraging. I've been to counseling in the past and, usually, I left feeling discouraged. There's not enough time for both people to cover what they need to say. But Fun-Filled Love took the time to learn about us both individually, ask questions and give you stuff to think about and work on, instead of just sitting down and asking you how you feel with no real direction. FFL makes you feel comfortable, truely cared for, low-stress and relaxed, with so much consideration and thought. I was really taken aback by the compassion I was met with.I also really enjoy their podcast. Delightful combination of lighthearted-happiness but while still getting deep and MEANINGFUL.

I was mostly hopeless and lost when I, after mulling over whether to reach out for help for weeks, finally shared my situation on the "Get Started" page on the Rising Calm website. To my surprise and delight, Eric Gilbert responded immediately. I began to feel life moving forward. Rising Calm has helped me to see, which is amazing considering how stubborn about beliefs I've been, strengths in myself to build upon and cultivate skills and a hopeful future. Eric is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. Once, I had a situation I felt was unprecedented and stressed excessively over it. However, once I brought it up, he comprehensively guided me through the difficult conversation which I so feared. Fear was squashed and hope was grown. He has provided great, life-changing resources, practicable, applicable advice and has renewed and grown my faith. Every meeting I learned plenty of new things and approaches that I could immediately apply the day of, going forward, and throughout life. Taking the first steps were scary. Could there really be anyone patient enough, equipped enough to help me through these situations? More than I ever could imagine. I highly recommend Rising Calm.

My time working with Eric at the Rising Calm Center addressing my anxiety issues could not have been a more fulfilling, productive, and positive experience! After months of researching possible Christian counselors and striking out, I stumbled across his website which proposed an encouraging counseling center with attainable, life changing results. Within 24 hours of filling out an appointment request form, Eric responded and offered a first meeting with him for free, just to see if his offer of counseling would be beneficial for me-and it was. The weekly 50-minute meetings with him always provided a welcoming and comfortable environment, and the balance between listening to the issues I was struggling with and offering tangible and attainable goals and solutions was there every time. I am extremely grateful for the time I spent there, and would HIGHLY recommend Eric at the Rising Calm Center to anyone who feels they need some extra help!

This place seems like a scam. First they attempted to store my credit card info in their intake pdf form. That is not secure. Then my wife and I waited for an hour and the therapist never showed up and no one answered any phone call while we waited. The owner seemed more worried about me calling his business a scam rather than rectifying the fact his therapist no showed to an appointment that was very important to my wife and I. This is not a legitimate counseling business.I wish the following response was given to me on the phone when you called instead of on here to make yourself appear better. If there was a glitch then why am I learning about it on google reviews.

Brief Description of Myself:I am a 40-year-old Black man with a strong relationship with Christ. I was married for eight years (separated for three) and have a very healthy co-parenting relationship with my wife and the mother of my oldest kids. As a father of three, I lead a busy but productive life. Every dog has his day, and I hit a dry season in my marriagelosing my identity both in myself and within the relationship. Before meeting with Eric, all of this still held true.I spent three years in marriage counseling before deciding to seek personal therapy. Initially, I avoided therapists of other ethnicities, believing they couldnt relate to me or my upbringing. However, working with Eric quickly proved me wrong. Ethnicity doesnt matter when your therapist is a Man of God, a good listener, patient, understanding, and prays before and after each session to ensure his counsel is Spirit-led rather than heart-led.I sought Erics guidance to help me navigate the difficult decision of divorceto free myself from the guilt of failing at marriage, the guilt of giving up, and the guilt of deeply hurting my wife. But after listening to my reasons for seeking therapy, Eric asked a different question: What was my relationship with Christ like? Had I kept Him at the forefront of my marriagethen or now? My honest answer was no. At the time, I was drained and, if Im being real, I didnt want to hear from God about that topic.Now, as I prepare for my sixth session with Eric, I can confidently say things are going well. He has been strategic in helping me unpack my brokenness, childhood trauma, anxiety, and the fear of opening myself up to lovewithout barriers but with reasonable boundaries.I hope my experience encourages someone to give Eric a chance.
