I was a little skeptical at first with who I should go with as my personal trainer on thumbtack. Halston didn't have many hires and very many reviews on thumbtack, but he explained to me that he was new to the thumbtack app but not new to personal training; he's been a trainer 8 years. I've had multiple trainers in the past around the Jacksonville area and halfway through our fitness assessment I realized that Halston's knowledge and education is above any other trainer I've had in the past. We've only been training for a short time but I've already learned more from him in that short amount of time that I have with all my other trainers in the past combined. The workouts are amazing and I leave feeling like I accomplished something great and not like I was beaten down for 30 minutes to an hour like I was with my other trainers. He rocks and he definitely really cares about me and seeing me reach my goals. I highly recommend him and he's worth far more than his rates.
I'v been hitting the weight for over 25 years now..it's part of my life..while I have been self-reliant for many years now, I felt like something was missing..maybe I lost my drive, maybe it was time to change my outdated approach. Whatever the case, I realized I couldn't do it by myself any longer. I looked around for a personal trainer, a lot...and most of them had a better pitch then any real ability an know how.. Matt on the other hand just asked me to work out with him. And then we sat and talked. What an eye opener. Needless to say, I'm going into my 4th month without him. This guy is the real thing. He will un-learn you a build you back up!

I find him to be very innovative in overcome obstacles presented by my disability. He is always prompt and also very accommodating if an appointment needs to be changed. Cheri has been my personal trainer for over a year. I'm very pleased and excited that we are working together. One, she has an excellent sense of humor and is upbeat, which makes the workouts fun. More importantly, she has excellent knowledge about exercise. While we always do complete workouts, she remains aware of my problems areas and, therefore, adds specific exercises to help those areas as well as watching my technique to insure I don't add injury or reinjure. In short, she is an excellent trainer, and I highly recommend her.
A hour workout with Gary Lee two times a week. We do a great variety of exercises that work my muscles and cardio. He is always thinking of new ways to get more out of our workout. Very consciousness of proper form. Which in turn allows me to maximize the exercise that I am performing. In a work out we will lift weights, lunges, sit ups, jumping jacks and run. This is just a few of the exercises we do. He changes up to keep it exciting for us. I have been working with Gary for 3 years and I am very pleased with his services provided as a personal trainer.

I started working out with Coach Oliver about 4 weeks ago and he is absolutely amazing!! He pushes me to exceed my own limits & continues with motivation & positive reinforcement. In just 3.5 weeks, I have gained 5 lbs. of muscle. My favorite part about working out with Coach Oliver is he explains the exercise, shows me how to properly do it, and then backs up with information about how this exercise affects your body.
