- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My system is very simple and straight forward. I do not use complicated calculation or price systems like many companies do, which can confuse the buyers most of the time. My system is very fast, simple and straight forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I do. I am always reading about new products, new trends, their advantages and disadvantages. I take continous courses on design, product knowledge, materials cost estimation, and others.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had just given birth to my beautfiul son, who is the love of my life and my inspiration and who pushes me to go out every single day and give my all and more. I started from my home with my baby son in my hands crying at times. I stayed home with him when he was born and I had time enough to see every single square inch of my home, my kitchen, bathrooms, etc. and I did not like what I saw. I was now starting to need more storage for his and our things, my bathrooms where cramped and ugly, my kitchen was horrendous and outdated and defenitely not functional for what I now needed as a new mom and having friends and family visiting constantly so I started getting quotes to do all this work, but went throught a nightmare with all these different companies and people getting to my home trying to do all these different projects and it was way out of our price range, our kitchen was suppose to be ready in 4 weeks and it took 4 month and I had a baby at home so it was a complete nightmare and stress. So my husband and I started This line of work, like any others is not easy, nothing is, however It gave me the flexibility of the schedule so I could spend more time with my son and at the same time I got a perfect understanding of what people go through on remodels especially when they small children at home, not to mention how extremely costly and chaotic it can get to the point a lot of people wait till their cabinets fall out before they do something about it. So since I went through this nightmare, I did not want others to go through the same. So I started falling in love with the business and the design aspect of it and working with people and understanding them. I thank God now for that, as I am very happy and successful and my son is now 15 years old and is very proud of me.
