Who would have known that my wife and I would get our dream kitchen from meeting Janiel on thumbtack. This review may be long but it’s well deserved.
My wife and I recently closed on a house and knew that we wanted to renovate our kitchen and thought we found our contractor for the job and we reached out to Janiel to ask if he could make us just a custom range hood because our current contractor couldn’t design what we were after. After meeting Janiel in person and witnessing his creativity on the spot in person, we knew this was the company to do our entire kitchen. We went with Janiel for the full renovation of our kitchen and I’m telling you, we now have a designer style, custom, luxury kitchen that looks straight out of a magazine. Our house looks like a million dollar home. The attention to detail, precision, work quality, speed/efficiency all goes unmatched and we spoke with so many other kitchen contractors before this. Do yourself a favor and look no further than Janiel at 17 design kitchen. Thankful to have found him on thumbtack and now we are getting some custom work in our living room as well. So grateful. Thanks again Janiel.

I worked with Janiel at 17 Kitchen Design Corp to create a custom office space in my condo, and the entire process from start to finish was nothing short of exceptional. From the very first meeting, Janiel immediately understood my vision. Within minutes, he sketched a layout that was not only functional but beautifully designed — and then brought it to life with an incredibly realistic 3D rendering that exceeded my expectations.
Janiel has access to a wide selection of high-quality materials, and his design instincts are spot-on. He helped me narrow down the perfect color and finish combinations with a level of taste and professionalism that’s rare to find. His craftsmanship is meticulous — every cut, corner, and detail was done with precision. It’s clear he’s not just a contractor, he’s an artist.
What impressed me most was his reliability and communication. He showed up exactly when he said he would, always responded promptly to any questions, and followed through on everything — no surprises, no excuses. In a city where good contractors are hard to come by, Janiel stands out as someone who’s honest, hardworking, and delivers truly top-tier work.
I couldn’t be happier with the final result — my new office space is stunning. If you’re looking for custom millwork or cabinetry for your home or office, don’t hesitate. Janiel at 17 Kitchen Design Corp is the real deal, and I wouldn’t think twice about recommending him to family or friends. I’ll definitely be calling him again for future projects.
Thank you, Janiel, for your outstanding work, attention to detail, and for bringing my dream workspace to life.

Janiel did an excellent job remodeling our kitchen. I knew from our first interaction that Janiel was special. He was very knowledgeable and helpful during the design phase of the kitchen. He allowed us to come up with the design and only made suggestions when necessary. His work speaks for itself. He was quick, clean, but most important very skilled at what he does. The kitchen looks better than what we had expected. Janiel was very considerate of our needs during the whole process. He understood exactly what we needed and he and his team delivered. He is super at what he does and very kind and caring of his clients. We are so pleased with the results and super happy with 17 kitchen design. They made what could have been a difficult process appear easy and painless. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Janiel and Team!

Janiel is very professional and detail oriented. The price was comparable to other companies however the quality and ability to customize is much better. The time agreed on the contract was met before the date. The entire team was the best!! I recommend this company for your kitchen project. We just moved to FL and in the renovation of our house I can say this company was the beat of all contractors that we hired for the different projects.
