FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing a depends on the details. I do whatever is possible to ensure it remains within and possibly below your budget so that you may afford any costumes, props, decor or supplies for the performance/class. My goal is not to make you go bankrupt but rather to ensure our goals are met and you are receiving more then what you payed for. I like to know everything about the job so I can fairly calculate the fees and payment. I usually charge a rehearsal fee of $25-$100 an hour (pending on the class, number of students, ects) and other fee's if applicable: - Choreography Fee (determined by length of the song, difficulty, and number of songs) - Costuming Fee (ordering and designing/making costumes) - Hair and Make-Up Fee (designing and applying hair and make-up the day of the performance) - Performance Day Fee ( a fixed amount for me to attend the performance and help back stage with hair, costumes, music, and all preparations necessary to ensure a flawless performance)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attend a number of workshops and am currently going to school studying Communication Arts - Performing Arts and Education at FIU!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions and get to know your instructor! I've heard some horrific stories from students. Always stay safe.
