Maria is a great teacher. She focuses on teaching HOW to dance - not just memorizing steps with no context. She explains the movements in a way that is easy to grasp and she focuses on the details. We were nervous having no previous dance experience - but she is a pleasure to work with!

Aside Maria's very talented background in dance, she is an amazing person over all.
Unlike other professional dancers/teachers I met before of her caliber, she is humble, approachable, knows how to teach dance to any skillet and very kind. It's rare to find that.

Slavik and Maria are an amazing dance teachers. Our whole family is dancing. They choreographed an awesome dances for my son’s wedding and mother/son dance. Maria is also my granddaughter’s dance teacher. They won many competitions together. I highly recommend them for their expertise and professionalism.

Maria was such an exceptional dance instructor! We went to her for our first dance for our wedding. She was professional and very patient with our limited dancing abilities. She was able to teach us so much with such little time. All the while she made it fun too! Without her we would have been lost on the dance floor! It turned out to be an awesome experience with with a great outcome. I would highly recommend Ballroom Excellence!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
After Intro special, I have different packages of private lessons that students can purchase that also depends on their program that we tailor together.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
On that first intro lesson I want to get a feeling of how my student/s is/are moving and memorizing the steps. Depends on the preference we will decide with which dance to start. I am teaching my students how to dance, so they can dance with any partner, on any dance floor and to any music. It is important for a man to learn how to lead, and for a lady how to follow.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have licenses to teach from the Fred Astaire Dance Studios, National Dance Sport Association, World Dance Sport Federation, plus fitness certifications from American Aerobic and Fitness Association and Zumba Fitness. We also attend seminars and training to be able to learn new ways of how to teach.
