I’m very disappointed at Jason. He didn’t finish his job and offered would come back finish it. But ended up requesting more money. He kept complaining he’s underpaid, but he was the one accepted the offer. He kept saying he was taken advantage by me, and what I offered him was $30 more than invoice, plus food, drink and business suggestions. And I even taught him how to do new logo design (I do business consultation I regularly charge for it). The story: After I listed my job Jason contacted me. He’s new to this app looking for to get rated. I showed him the photos of my kitchen, and I asked him if he can price matching another offer I received, he agreed. So I brought him in. He was late for 40 mins for the work in the morning. Other than the late, everything was perfect in the beginning. I showed him all the materials, he checked everything and started to work. When the floor almost finished, he asked me if I have quarter rounds. I said I don’t want that just lay the wood panels all the way to the edge. I don’t want any moldings or quarter rounds they are ugly. But he said he couldn’t do it. (Because he couldn’t do it, I have to end up paying money buy more materials? And get something I don’t like?) He offered he would come back to install them after I got the molding/quarter rounds. I wrote him check with full amount we agreed plus $30 more (how do I take advantage of him by offering more money?) He asked me if I can give him a good review, I did. Because I trusted him would come back and finish the job. This morning I asked him if he could come to finish the job, but he asked me for additional $60. It is not a lot of money I agree, but it is unacceptable. Because he couldn’t install the floor, and he offered he would come back to finish the work. That’s part of the job. The additional money request is not acceptable. He accepted the job offer by his own will, but he turned around says he’s underpaid. He said he would come back fix unfinished job, but he didn't. I trusted him, see what I got? Be accused “taking advantage” of him and make him underpaid. I cannot trust him anymore. I didn’t bring him back to finish the job. It’s not about money.

the true story is that originally I quoted her for $500 to do the job I asked her if she had all the materials needed to complete the job and she said she did at that time. I offered her a amazing price of $250 to finish off her kitchen flooring that another contractor she hired that she was not pleased with. unfortunately when I went to the job site her home was halfway done the kitchen needed to be weaved in that means installing flooring to continue her installation through her home into the kitchen originally known as weaving in. and that folks it's not an easy job to do she didn't have all her materials. I even offered to go to Home Depot that we did to pick up the rest of the materials that she needed to finish the job in one day. she was undecisive about what types of moldings to pick from I gave her choices from one white moldings or we can try to copy the color to match her cabinets and evening went out of my way to register my company to where she originally bought her materials the only way is for a licensed contractor to purchase I traveled over 45 minutes to her location went to Home Depot and went to this new vendor that she suggested because she bought materials there. I never charged her for moldings or place on my contract because she did not have the materials. I explained to her that for me to return and helper with her mouldings there will be an additional $60 for travel and labor she was not happy with that's and so she told me that she's going to erase the five-star she gave me and give me what you see at the present time I'm an honest company. I feel that I'm getting taken advantage there. I even helped her fix her AC that her AC mechanic never came by and I got it to run for her through my advice. I'm a licensed and insured contractor and throughout my time in the trade and business i learned that you can't make everyone happy.
