If you want someone who goes above and beyond and will finish the task at hand, Garth is your guy. I am blown away by the commitment to the job he was tasked to do. What we thought was going to be a simple light switch placement switch to another wall turned out to be a can of worms. He did not stop once until the job was done and that is the kind of service you will get. The project was to install new carriage lights and repair some non-working outlets. Old house, old incrementally added wiring. He managed to untangle and rectify the problems and really cared about solving the issue and putting it right, as though it was his own home, at a reasonable cost. Also a very nice man.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is transparent and based on the scope of work. I provide upfront estimates, and a service call fee may apply, which can go toward the final cost if the job is approved. Larger projects may require a deposit to cover materials. I don’t add hidden fees, and any additional costs will always be discussed in advance. I’m also open to fair negotiation, especially for larger or repeat projects.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new customers, I start by discussing the project details and asking for any helpful pictures or information. From there, I provide an estimate and explain the scope of work. Once we agree on pricing, I schedule a time that works best for the customer. As a licensed Journeyman electrician currently working toward my Master’s license, I make sure every step is professional, safe, and up to code.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a licensed Electrical Journeyman and currently working toward my Master Electrician license. Along with my licensing, I have extensive hands-on training and professional experience in both residential and commercial projects. I also keep up with continuing education and safety courses to stay current with the latest codes, tools, and techniques.
