Janet J. says, "I hired Maple Enterprises to help me hang up Christmas garlands along the roofline along with a few wreaths and some snowflake lights. He answered my inquiry in less than an hour and was able to find some time very quickly. He texted when he was on his way (a nice courtesy) and arrived right on time. He brought his own ladder and all of the tools that he needed. We live in a brand new home and he was extra careful when placing the ladder against it! He hung over a hundred feet of garland that was decorated with lights and ornaments and several decorated wreaths as well. He was very meticulous in securing the garland so that it will stay in place and then hooked up the extension cords and hid them along the downspouts. He also hung about 75 feet of snowflake lights along the gutters. And after everything was completed he helped me test everything to make sure it would all light - and it did! He made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. I hate when the holidays are over, but I am glad I found Maple Enterprises to come back and help take everything down!"

Unfortunately my experience with the team was not great. It's a condo move out repair job including touch up paint, replacing caulking and a few other minor items.  The wall touch up - as you can imagine when tenants move out there's scuffs and stains on the walls here and there. I asked them to look around and paint these area. When it's time to check the results - only the living room was touched up. All other rooms, areas - nothing. Nails are still on the walls, stains are not covered. When I asked them to come back they refused by saying it's too much work.  Note I didn't negotiate the price it was the price they asked for.  Then it's the caulking. Please check the pictures. I have never seen caulking job done this way and wouldn't imagine it can be done this way. What made me write this review is that the caulking for the kitchen sink peeled off today, a few weeks after it's knstalled, as can be seen in the last picture.  At the end I just paid the price they asked for . I had to hire another team to get the job done. Fortunately it was done nicely this time with less cost.  They might be very good at other jobs, but not painting and caulking.

Shako responded to my inquiry immediately, scheduled quickly, followed up to confirm, showed up on time, immediately and accurately analyzed the issue and the best way to fix it, and did an amazing job with a shower caulk project that had been half-done and bothering me for literally years. Came quickly and was able to schedule job quickly. However, the quality of work done was not good. Had several areas of drywall that needed to be patched and painted as well as a ceiling that needed to be painted. Will have to hire someone else to redo everything. Also hired him to fix the window trim and he just caulked around it and so I had to pay someone else to fix it properly.

Best Handyman ever ! - Great find on Jax Thumbtack ! - Angil has a great work ethic, delivers quality, very dependable - and is very fairly priced ! - My initial request: Correct serious rust damage on a leaking bath tub drain. He removed the damage, prepped, added new drain, set up epoxy, foam, bonding, resurfacing. So impressed with his work that I handed over my back log of overdue tasks. He installed new mini-blinds, curtain rod, replaced weather damaged garage cedar threshold, caulked, painted. Replaced bad bedroom deck lumber, installed new self-propel belt under Honda mower, purchased and replaced several broken tracks under kitchen drawers, caulked gaps on ext. fireplace siding, floodlight replacement, and more. -- MUCH was accomplished !!! - Angil does it all with a great attitude & is a pleasure to deal with -- I couldn't ask for more !! -

OUTSTANDING! I reached out to James about a week before Christmas. Next day he came out and checked out the painting job (exterior whole house - new color and trim). On Monday (Christmas week) he came out power washed. Three days later house was done. More importantly, he went above and beyond without my saying anything and not charging me - he caulked, scraped, and fixed rotted wood. Yes, I paid extra because it’s the right thing to do. He communicated well and didn’t even ask me for more money. I was impressed. Painting job done, but I just moved in. Showed him other jobs. He and James have been here everyday for more than a week now. We are painting the garage, laying floor, fixing doors, and remodeling some stuff. In short, two AMAZING young men that show up and work. New Year’s Eve they worked 8-5. New Year’s Day they showed up at 8am prompt with putty knives in their hand to work. I will continue to reach out to both James and Shawn for work. They’re fair, honest, dependable, responsible, trustworthy, professional and you will NOT be disappointed. The first time that I reached out Mrs. Bryant responded promptly scheduled me for the next day to replace my bathroom door. I was a bit taken aback that the $40 per hour went to $80 for something that took 20 minutes, but I can't tell a business what to charge so I went with it. Mr. Bryant was over an hour late without a phone call. When he got to my house he apologized and told me someone had an emergency that he had to take care of first...life happens. While he was at my home he noticed that I had a few unfinished baseboards and spaces that needed caulking. He mentioned that he could fix them, gave me an estimate that I was ok with. I reaced out to Mrs. Bryant and scheduled for May 5th @10am. On May 5th after 10am no Mr. Bryant, I called him and he told me that he would be 45 minutes late, I told him OK, hanged up only to get a text 5 minutes later asking for my address again from him. I sent my address, he never call or show up to do the work. Eventually I called him, he kept saying hello like he could not hear me then hang up. I called back and was sent to voicemail. Mrs. Bryant never answered my call or responded to my text. I am quite annoyed that I took a day off for nothing. It's would sad that I hired them based on the reviews on here and had such a terrible and unprofessional experience. I would not reccomend them at all.
