- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication can start in many ways, E-mail, Telephone or Social Media. The key to a successful Client - Professional relationship is Communication. Face to face meeting time is very important. There has to be some level of a personality match within the bounds of doing business. Once the relationship is established, the paperwork can begin. Paperwork. Necessary? - Absolutely.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Learning is a continuous, life long commitment. Even though I have a College Degree I still participate in workshops, focus groups and attend seminars at the University level. I am a member of PPA and take advantage of their educational resources. Technology is always evolving and to take advantage of all it has to offer a Professional must become educated. What good is that new and fancy device if you don't take the time to learn it?
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into my line of work many years ago while in the US Marines. My primary MOS was Defense Mapping and Photography. I returned to full time Photography work in the early 2000's after a long career in the building industry. Rather than retire I attended and graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville, and transferred to the University of North Florida in order to return to my photographic roots.
