EJ installed a grab bar on the tile in our shower. He did an excellent job. He was fast and his price was fair. We will hire him again.
Scott did a Excellent job! He built a new Fence Gate and Panel. Scott is very thorough about completing the project to perfection.I am very happy with Scott's work and I highly recommend Scott.
Patrick did a great job. Hauled off all the scrap wood at a reasonable price in one load.
Shower and Bath, ceramic tile install including niche, shower pre-slope and floor. Travertine and Marble floor install (large tiles) including demo.
Don accomplished exactly what I needed in my backyard patio. His crew was courteous and knowledgeable in the installation of pavers. Additionally, he was fair and reasonable in pricing the job. His crew cleaned up the yard before leaving and he personally supervised their work. He is easy to work with and does quality work.
John is a master carpenter. His cuts are precise which leaves little to no waste. His design work and creativity are outstanding. John has remodeled our kitchen, tiled our kitchen, living room and dining room floors, sided our house, and designed our bathroom. There is no job too big or too small. Johnny on the Spot gets it DONE!
We had Dustin repair 3 section of screen one of our crews accidentally damaged. He knocked it out quickly and for a fair price!
Make a screen door and install/plaster wall. Steves work is awesome and he was so helpful and saved me a lot of money. I will use and plan to recommend him to everyone.
Pete provides a very high-level quality of work for a very reasonable price. He and his co-worker worked all day in inclement weather to get replace some rotten wood siding on my house, replace my back door threshold, and to install gutters on the back side of my house. He also made sure that I would not have the same problem again by making adjustments to my deck so that the water would flow off properly and not remain puddled near my house. I can tell that he values the work that he does and wants to feel good about every job done. It's hard to find a trustworthy and reliable contractor who will be honest with me and I'm glad I finally found Powers Services and Repairs. I will definitely be using them again!
I had one of my rental properties reroofed completely with an adjacent property I had a partial roof done along with a overhang to the tenants entrance. Overall I was very pleased with the outcome. The reason for my score is as follows: THE GOOD---Roof looked great , the crew was knowledgeable and they left the area in good shape. The roof was completed in a timely matter. The price was competitive, not the lowest but reasonable for the work that was to be completed. The torch down roof on my adjacent property looked great as well and the framing for the overhang over the tenants entrance actually exceeded my expectations. This was done a few days after the neighboring roof was done but with intermittent rain this was expected. I would have given Ricky a 4.5 star rating personally but this system doesn't allow half stars and the reason I wound up giving less than a 5 star review was as follows. THE BAD and UGLY: I know I am not the easiest client to please but I do ask questions and have expectations. When discussing the need for additional supplies which were needed I offered to go to Home Depot/Lowes to pick them up since I lived only a few blocks away. The price in the contract was almost triple the normal price(for additional decking and trim) and I thought I could save my self a few dollars as I didn't anticipate needed any extra decking for the roof. Ricky was prompt in sending pictures of the damaged area and while discussing my offer to pick up the extra supplies the owner jumped into the conversation ( I was on speaker phone without my knowledge) and he immediately started raising up "that's the price quoted in the contract" and I should have read" my contract. Um I did read the contract .Maybe" raising up "is your acceptable way to talk to your wife but not to me. Nothing like having someone your paying almost $8,000.00 to insult you and trying to talk over you. I was then advised by him the additional wood needed was already purchased ( even though the contract stated and I was advised by Ricky that I would be called prior to any additional purchases being made). The owner the proceeded to whine that he would just have to "eat that extra expense" and lets move on. (as a side note I was told I needed 4 extra sheets of plywood but when I came over and climbed up on the roof and spoke with roofers it turned out I needed less than one....hmm almost an extra $180.00 out of my pocket. I certainly understand I would have to pay more for convenience but I was just trying to keep my costs down. Odd that a skilled group of experienced workers would mis-estimate how much they would need. I guess its ok to ask questions. Now with all that aside, the last small complaint was the quoted price wasn't what was paid. I pad the first half with a cashiers check and decided to pay the remaining balance with a credit card after all this foolishness with the extra supplies needed. I was then advised there was a 3 percent surcharge for credit cards. Oddly this was no where in the contract. One would expect the cost of doing business would be included but apparently not. As a long time employee of a major credit card company I know If you pay by credit card you will have recourse if the job is not performed correctly or completed. In summary. Ricky overall was excellent and the job was performed on time. He was communicative with how the work was progressing and did follow up to see if I was happy. The work appears excellent and looks good.T he second partial roof and overhang exceeded my expectations and looked fantastic. Had the owner not intervened with his rather condescending and inflammatory comments and had the credit card surcharge been disclosed in the contract this would have been a 5 star rating. Unfortunately since I am rating a company and a person who is the "face of the company" there is no way to separate the two on here hence this is my overall impression. I would recommend future clients to do business with Ricky and I would encourage future clients to contact me if they have further questions or concerns. The Thumbtack system was good and gave me multiple leads in order to choose my roofing specialist.
We hired Rob to replace the siding on our two chimneys. He showed up on time and eager to get the job done. He and April were able to answer all our questions and worked nonstop in the hot 90 degree heat without breaks. Time was important to them. For once I felt like my time was as important as the person I hired. The workmanship and dedication they showed was outstanding. Rob really knows his profession and they care about what the customer wants and thinks as well as the job they do. Their price was very reasonable. Leaving us to feel like we got our moneys worth. They really did a good job! Our Chimneys really look nice again. We are very happy with the completed project. We highly recommend them and will be using there services in the future for any repairs we may need help with.
T.J. has performed whole house siding jobs for us. He is detail oriented, has strong construction knowledge and is an asset to any project he is a part of. Highly recommended!
I hired Stephen Collins to replace an area of siding on our home. He did what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it, and cleaned up afterwards. So refreshing and unstressful.
Jim & the Durabild team install all of our soffit, fascia and lap siding. Durabild Solutions always delivers a high quality job at the price quoted. They are on the job when scheduled and finish the job on time. If all of our tradepartners serviced our company the way that Durabild does, we would be able to deliver higher quality homes with a more predictable outcome. Thank you Jim and the Durabild team for all your hard work!!!
Nice person, polite and helpful. Would definetly use him again.
