We can't say enough about the quality of work Rick provided us with our cabinets... It's obvious that the time spent with his Dad buildingcustomcabinets paid off. He was timely in his response and once he got here, he pointed out things we hadn't caught and then fixed them.
We are so grateful for his amazing service to us. I would highly recommend him for any cabinet job!

Kitchen cabinet installation. Rick figured out the installation of cabinets that were ordered by a different company. He was on time for the estimate, on time for the work and is neat and clean in his work environment. We are half way thru the job and things are looking very good!

It has certainly been a great experience working with Richard. He is very professional, polite, knowledgeable, executes very well and his work is extraordinary.
We extended our existing kitchen cabinets to include upper cabinets. He guided us in selecting the perfect cabinetry and included a tv enclosure. He built upper cabinets, built-in microwave, wine fridge & refrigerator enclosures as well as repaired garbage disposal, all done with impeccable craftsmanship.
Richard and his assistant were absolutely amazing and very meticulous, exceptional service. RAF Carpentry exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

Rick went above and beyond on a job for our home. He installed new baseboards throughout the downstairs, and then worked meticulously to incorporate them around our kitchen cabinets to make them look more custom. We asked him to add molding to the ends of our island to also give it the custom look and he did and outstanding job! He has a great work ethic, and was a pleasure to do business with. Thanks, Rick, for a job well done!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a helper, just holding stuff, but I was always very observant and picked up skills quickly. And I've always been good with my hands.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common is changing light fixtures, trim work, cabinets, and tile.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A partner bought a nice house a few months ago and I did 90% of the renovations. Redid the master bathroom, put in three French doors, changed all the light fixtures, built and installed new kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, medicine cabinets, replaced two fences and gates, trimmed all the trees. It was major project but a lot of fun and I was pleased with the final result.
