Steve was the original installer of the brand new garage door and opener back in February 2015. The garage door increasingly get noisy. As the weeks went on the sound became unbearable. Our neighbors can hear it we left/entered our home. When Steve came out this time he stated our door issue was due to lack of maintenance. For a 10 month old garage door? He applied garage door lubricant to the joints and springs. The fee would be service call of $75. Noise only reduced slightly but not really a difference. Then he readjusted/loosen up the garage door joints and the noise was reduced by 75% - 80%. Steve said we would need to let the lubricant time to work and may need to add more in a few days. We will see. I think the door was assembled incorrectly in the first place. You get what you paid for.
