Melissa did hair and make-up for my wedding near Boston, Massachusetts. We did a trial run the day before (which, incidentally, made my dress rehearsal pictures look great!), and she spent several hours with me the day of the wedding itself. She did a great job, and even managed to cover up a scar from open-heart surgery only a year before. She pulled out her fancy airbrushing machine and it just disappeared! Everyone was shocked.
The make-up looked beautiful, of course, but it's just as important to me to feel comfortable with the person. "Getting Ready" is a big part of the day, and I loved having Melissa in the room with us. She is fun yet professional, and fit in with the mood of the room perfectly.

Melissa did my bridal make-up and I could not have been happier! She was SO easy to work with! We started a couple of months prior talking about ideas and I shared some pictures of what I really liked. She went so far as to do research into some long-staying false eyelashes and tested them on herself first! We had a trial and she carefully listened to my feedback and made slight adjustments for the actual day-of makeup session. She was on time (early even!) and well prepared with everything she might need.
I am pretty particular about my makeup and I had no qualms with working with Mel. She was on point in providing a natural look that wasn't overdone. She's incredibly warm and friendly and was a great addition to my bridal suite on the day of the wedding. Helpful and unobtrusive- I would recommend her to anyone!

I don't even know where to begin! Melissa is incredible! I felt so lucky to have her as my makeup artist on my wedding day in CO. Not only did she cover up and conceal a spray tan gone bad (never get a spray tan over sunburned skin...), she was exactly who I wanted in the room as we all got ready. Her warmth and talent are a dynamite combination and I remember feeling so beautiful because of her work! She's didn't simply "do" my makeup, she worked closely with me to CREATE the look I wanted for both my rehearsal dinner and the wedding. I recommend her without reservation and know anyone would be lucky to have her on their special day.

Melissa was GREAT to work with! She got right back to me when I contacted her and was timely with all correspondence. She was extremely helpful in providing me with suggestions. She came to my room to do my hair and makeup. Melissa texted me to let me know she was on her way and then offered me the choice of where I wanted her to set up. She was great at explaining what she was doing and was super easy to talk to! I LOVE how I looked when she was done and I looked AMAZING!! I will definitely be using her again whenever I am in town and need hair or makeup done. GREAT experience!

We had our second pregnancy captured through "belly art". Melissa's talent with air brush was impressive to say the least. Her attention to detail and ability to make the artwork come alive was more than I could of imagined. She is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her for belly art and/or any other creative way to use makeup to capture a special moment in your life.
