Rosie has been the perfect trainer for our new bernedoodle puppy named Mila! Within one private session, we have already learned foundational exercises and commands to teach our puppy. We can’t wait to learn more and highly recommend Rosie for your training needs! She makes the sessions fun, educational and engaging.Sep 9, 2020Verified
Rosie was amazing with my puppy! She was so helpful in getting Honey to learn new tricks and get over her fear of walking on a leash. She’s a lovely person and a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend.Sep 2, 2020VerifiedK9 Fitness Lab's reply
Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure working with you and Honey Bear!!
5-Stars aren't enough. Rosie is simply wonderful. She has exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. This is our first puppy and we wanted to work with an experienced, professional trainer. We are thrilled we found Rosie on Thumbtack. She has been totally responsive in answering our questions or addressing our challenges. Her demeanor with our dog, Sunny, is super. Sunny immediately responded to Rosie and has made great progress in her in training. If you're looking for a trainer who has a genuine love for dogs, is professional, responsive and on time or early every time, Rosie is the trainer for you. Sincerely, Larry and Dava BerezinFeb 9, 2018Verified
Rosie is fantastic!!! Just in one session we learned a lot and already our dog 🐶 is responding to the training. We are continuing our training with her and looking forward to the growth of our puppyMay 8, 2017VerifiedK9 Fitness Lab's reply
Thanks Rachel! It's a pleasure working with you and Chris. Zero is a great pup. We'll work hard to manage all of that exuberance!
Update 4/26/2017! Rosie continues to be great! We had a follow up session and it was great. Fiona remembered her and loved seeing her again. We got a new harness that works much better for us on walks and she is pulling much less thanks to Rosie's guidance. Continue to highly recommend Rosie! Rosie is great! We've only had one session so far, but will be scheduling more. I have a very smart, active, and skittish pup that just turned one. She is well behaved, house trained, and knows her basic commands, but she needs more. Rosie was so great with my Fiona. I feel like she understood her personality and what I was looking for in training. We have homework and Fiona is learning fast. Highly recommended for her experience, knowledge and her way with my dog.May 3, 2017VerifiedK9 Fitness Lab's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My dog training pricing is customized to your needs. Puppy packages range from $250 - $400 based on your goals and what the pup already knows. For particular issues with dogs of any age, my standard rate is $60/hour with a 15% discount for 5 or more sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will meet with a new customer and their pet to evaluate their needs. What does your dog do? What would like them to do? This evaluation is free and phone consultations are encouraged. Then we will come up with a customized training plan. No two pets are the same. We will work together for as long or as short a time as needed to give us the desired result. For pet sitting, I will meet and greet, get all of the basic information, and come up with a schedule that suits the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have taught basic obedience and basic agility in group settings for my dog club (Tailwaggers Learning Center) for the past ten years. I have also worked with private clients on conditioning and training. Years ago I worked as a veterinary assistant and I have a Bachelors Degree in Animal Sciences. I obtained my credential of Certified Canine Fitness Trainer through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. I am also certified through Pet Tech in pet first aid and care.
