Introduction: Dog Rules, Inc. was established to offer training to the dog parents that will allow them the best relationship possible with their dog. We all know dogs are not just dogs anymore... they are part of our family, daily lives and sometimes the heart of our existence. We offer full training to help you understand how best to prepare your dog for life in a human world, communicate with your dog to relieve frustration and help your relationship be harmonious. My life is full of dog smiles, human smiles and lots of sloppy kisses. I can't think of a better way to spend a day than helping a family learn to be closer with their pet, helping a dog to fit into a new home or helping fur babies live peacefully together.

We are still in process of working with Shana, but just in 3 visits with our Siberian Husky Alana, we have already seen great progress. She is always on time, fantastic with communication and of course the most important she is incredible with our dog. Very pleased with her education on dog training. Couldn’t be happier to have hired her. I constantly tell others about Dog Rules and would recommend her to everyone!!

Shana is an awesome dog trainer! She came into our home and honestly even after the first day of training our dog Rocky has been such a GOOD BOY!!! My husband and I didn’t think that anyone could get through to our dog and figure out why he was acting crazy and being a bully, but Shana understands dogs so well and has brought out the super good boy that Rocky naturally is! He used to snap at us and boss us around (and yes dogs can definitely do that) Shana came in and taught us how to communicate with our dog and also taught Rocky that he is not going to get away with being a bully. We definitely recommend Dog Rules to everyone!

So far it has been an excellent experience. I have had all my questions answered promptly and the first visit with my dogs went very well. I think my animals will be well taken care of while I’m away.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You may think it is a lot to spend on dog training. I think it is a small commitment to a lifetime of happiness and well being. The lifetime support we offer after the program is completed shows our commitment to you and your family being fully satisfied and feeling confident in your choice to train with Dog Rules, Inc. There are two reasons to charge more than the competitor: 1) You are highly sought after and your time is valuable 2) You are very committed to what you do and expect the person paying to be just as committed. My time and energy is valuable just as valuable as your commitment to your dog. We both want what's best for your dog(s) well being and health.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up a date and time for an evaluation. The evaluation is $75.00 which is applied to your program price. Every dog and situation should be seen before a program is sold. Then we can discuss what program is appropriate for you and your dog. The first appointment will be the following week.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 1 year training under a master certified dog trainer and 4+ years in the field as a dog trainer. 1 year volunteering at the SPCA.
