FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can set up consultation calls if customers have any questions regarding lesson appointments or concerns on what services they may need. Introduction lesson (Your 1st lesson) is a $25 fee for your appointment. Monthly Lesson payment packages are: 30 mins (4) $130, 45 mins (4) $185, 60 mins (4) $275. Weekly regular costs are $35 per ½ hour, $50 per 45 mins, and $75 per hour. All payments prior to each appointment via invoice, credit card, or package rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Always remain in contact with the customer. I tend to send reminder text messages so that students are available and follow up on any questions they leave me. This also helps in scheduling former students. During the lesson, I would proceed in a vocal warm-up and allow the student to get comfortable. There is also breathing, stretching, pitch training, and volume control that I want to pinpoint the strength in my students. I also allow incoming students to choose the song they would like to sing for me. This is another ice breaker for the students and makes them more likely to be creative in their lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University of Florida with a master's degree in vocal performance and pedagogy. This allowed me to study and train the fundamentals for vocal development in both young and beginner singers. My musical interest in sacred church, gospel, and Christian music have me working as lead vocals and soprano section leader within my community and church for over 10 years. I've worked with Catholic, Methodist, Episcopal, Baptist, and Presbyterian communities as either a guest singer or part of their choir. I have also collaborated with opera guilds such as St. Petersburg Opera and Tampa Opera in the Straz Center which lead to contributing to opera workshop studies at Saint Petersburg College for about 4 years. My musical theater gigs lead me to collaborate with Eight o'clock Theater and Ruth Eckerd Ensemble for 2 years as my most recent training until the pandemic hit back in 2020. While also in the community, I’ve recently studied Pop/rock, Jazz, R&B styles thanks to Roxy Miller’s Voicercise program for the past two years.
