FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a written estimate with a line-item breakdown of the expected costs ahead of each job. The estimate will indicate any applicable travel fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial brief conversation over phone or messaging helps me understand the customer's project. For small to mid-size jobs, I request that the customer send pictures or specific information to help me work up an estimate remotely. For larger jobs, I prefer to stop by for an in-person evaluation. If they approve the estimate, we schedule the work. Jobs totaling over $600 require a 25% downpayment before work can commence.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied engineering technology in school. After which I worked at Walt Disney World in Facilities and Operations Services. My responsibility was to assist in overseeing building maintenance projects at the resort hotels. I have 10+ years' experience in the maintenance and repair field as a technician. 5 of those years included building maintenance for companies such as Jones Lang LaSalle and Amazon.
