FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since we cover a large variety of services, its hard to say yes to this question. Take for instance tile floor removal. Is the tile set in normal mortar or embedded in concrete that is 4 inches thick above the slab, that is only discovered after removing the first tile. In construction, just when you think you've seen it all, you see something totally new.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask if the potential client has pictures of the problem or issue at hand they need to deal with. Or, if its something they want to replicate, a picture is worth a thousand words. Depending on the cost of the job, at hand, a full sit down face to face would be necessary on jobs requiring substantial sums of money so that everyone is clear on what is expected of them. Contracts would be written and followed with larger jobs that require permitting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, the State requires continuous education for renewing my license as well as industry specific coursework.
