I have been using Thumbtack for many years & never had such a nightmare like this. I honestly think that Thumbtack does not clearly evaluate whomever is advertised here. I believe this person first needs to prepares himself with all the necessary equipment, knowledge, and patience needed for this business., and learn how to carefully do a moving according to the customer’s needs. We (me with a recent surgery, and my boyfriend who has a bad back) ended up helping him in everything because there wasn’t any other option in order to get the few items moved. Furthermore we ourselves had to load all the boxes into my car, and my boyfriend’s car as well. When we got to the new place 18 miles away, there was already 2 hours, so we had to unload and tell him that’s all, so we I paid him. When he was leaving he saw my difficulty unloading, I could hardly unload the boxes & he didn’t had the courtesy to offer some help. It was so sad and disappointed to see how people are so selfish, specially during this difficult times everyone is facing, we ended up unloading everything. This was a total nightmare from the beginning to the end.
