We offer architectural drawing services to submit for city permits for ADUs, decks, and new construction projects, exclusively in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Our work is primarily focused in Montgomery County (MD), Frederick County (MD), Howard (MD), Anne Arundel (MD), Prince George´s (MD), and Fairfax County (VA).
Our starting fees are as follows:
New Construction: starts at $7,000
Decks: starts at $3,500
ADUs: pricing depends on the square footage; we’ll be happy to provide a detailed quote once we have that information.
The typical turnaround time for the drawings is approximately 3 weeks.
Please note that in order to begin the architectural process and submit for permits, an engineering component is required (such as structural calculations, grading plans, etc.). This part of the process must be provided by a licensed engineer hired directly by the client.
Regarding permits:
In Maryland and Virginia, approval typically takes 1–2 months after submittal.
In Washington, D.C., the process may take up to 1 year, depending on the city’s internal review timelines.
Permit processing times are determined by each jurisdiction and are outside of our control.

The consultation has a cost of $150, which will be credited toward the total project cost if you choose to move forward and hire us for the full scope of work.
