- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price is subject to square feet and quality of work. Level 5 Finish with minimum tolerance takes longer time and takes more materials so it has a higher cost than a level 4 Finish with mild tolerance on quality. When working on walls the sq ft measurement is on walls, not on home sq ft, that's to determine ceiling work cost only. Popcorn removal and knock down texturing are messy jobs. A place with no furniture is cheaper for us to work with than a place full of windows, mirrors, TVs, paints, lamps etc.. a place with rug or wooden floors is a lot more expensive than regular tile. We must cover every single valuable at your home, that’s time we spend doing it and plastic, ram board, tape we must provide. We prefer to visit the sites to have an idea of all valuables to be protected before starting the messy work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free quote visit to the "site." We prefer a non profit visit and be sure of the required job for us to charge a fair amount. Secondly: estimate proposal sent via email or text message, followed by a negotiation process with client. Lastly, depending on the amount of work to be done we will ask for a 30-40-30 or 50-50 percent deposit, with a total of 2 or 3 payments introduced on a formal estimate. The last payment will be at the end of the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
5 years experience as level 5 Drywall and Finisher having worked during the construction of the Faena House, Faena Hotel and 4 seasons Surf Club. 2 years experience as interior Framing, Drywall and Finisher foreman during the remodel of the Ritz-Carlton South Beach Hotel. Over 3 years working with home owners to improve their homes. Associates degree in Business Administration and OSHA Certified.
