FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with flat design fees, so you know exactly what you’re investing before we begin — no surprises or hourly meters running. Pricing depends on the scope: a single-room consultation is priced very differently than a whole-home design. I offer flexible service levels, from design-only packages (perfect if you want to execute yourself) to full-service design with sourcing and installation coordination. Payment is typically structured 50/50 — half to begin, half at delivery.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We start with a conversation — no pressure, just getting to know you, your space, and how you actually live. From there I create a design concept with a full material and color palette, then a detailed design plan you can execute with confidence. Depending on the project, I can handle everything from concept only to full sourcing, procurement, and installation coordination. Every step is clear, so you always know what’s happening and what comes next. What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project? What’s your realistic budget range? What’s your timeline — is there a move-in date or event driving it? Which rooms matter most if you need to phase the work? How do you actually use the space day to day? And gather a few inspiration images — even just knowing what you don’t like helps enormously. Want me to tighten any of these for character limits, or adjust the tone — more casual, more luxury-forward?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Formal interior design training combined with 20+ years of hands-on experience in luxury residential design, first in Los Angeles and now in Miami and Puerto Rico. My real education has been designing for demanding, detail-oriented clients — that teaches you precision, discretion, and how to execute flawlessly under tight timelines
