- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with trying to get a general understanding on how comfortable the client is with the subject and what the clients goals are. These are the two main guides for how the tutoring process begins.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a tutor in the Educational Opportunities Program at San Diego State University. I tutored all levels of math up to differential equations and college level physics. Here, I worked with underprivileged students to increase their confidence and studying strategies.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Middle school, high school, college level and varied professionals.
