What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is get to know the child, their strengths, challenges, interests, and academic goals. Then I create personalized activities based on their needs. I use questions, logic, real-life examples, and engaging activities to help them understand concepts and become more confident and independent learners.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have experience working with children as a behavioral therapist, including children on the autism spectrum. I use principles and tools from ABA to understand each child’s needs, encourage positive learning behaviors, and make learning feel engaging rather than like a constant demand. I bring this same approach to Growing Minds, creating a supportive environment where children can learn at their own pace and become excited about learning.
