I spent six months working with Nolan, and that experience has changed me and my lifestyle for the better! I started my search for a nutritionist/fitness trainer on the Thumbtack app, and after a conversation with Nolan, I felt comfortable working with him. I am so glad I did. He was able to help create the best workout plans based on my lifestyle, goals, and the equipment available to workout with. Just by following the plans week-over-week, I started to notice results. What made the difference was the nutritional side of things. Nolan lays out the foods and portions sizes you need to eat while training to fuel your body and cut down your weight. Over the first three months, I got into the habit of meal prepping certain foods and freshly cooking others. After that, I started playing around with different food combinations and enjoying the different meals. This allowed for healthy habits to grow, and now, seven months later, I find myself wanting those foods over the processed foods and take-out. All you need to do to succeed with Nolan is follow his plan, be transparent with him and update him about your progress, and take it one day at a time. If you continually take the program one day at a time, it's over before you know it, and you pick up many great habits along the way. I can't thank him enough for what he has done for me. I look forward to checking in with him over time to let him know how I'm still doing.

Nolan has been an excellent nutrition/trainer in helping me reach my goals to lose 20 lbs. I initially chose to work with Nolan because of his education/ interdisciplinary background and recommendations from his clientele. I found his nutrition/training plans were easy to follow and were sustainable for the long term. He didn’t include training exercises that could lead to injury and his meal plans made me feel energized. He was also familiar with Indian cuisine and responded to all of my questions within 24 hours. Overall, Nolan has been easy to work with, very professional, and provided great quality of service. I highly recommend his services.

I've been working with Nolan for about 6 weeks now and it has been a great experience. I'm down roughly 8 pounds in that time frame and that is a significant amount of progress compared to other plans/routines i've tried in the past. He created my nutrition plan and is very flexible as far as making changes based on the results we see every week and whenever I have a question he's quick to respond via email. I'm very pleased with the progress i've seen so far and i'll continue to work with him! Highly recommend!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I prefer to collect as much information from the client pertaining to the customer's goals, lifestyle, current nutrition/training regimen (if applicable), and stats (height,weight,progress photos) before getting started.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a bachelor's degree from Florida International University in Interdisciplinary Studies. While completing my degree, I obtained several college credits in science courses pertaining to biology, physiology, and nutrition. I am also an ISSA Certified Elite Trainer, ISSA Certified Nutritionist, ISSA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, and ISSA Certified Specialist in Bodybuilding.
