A lot of people go to the gym with the idea of wanting to become lean and toned (i.e. lean muscle mass), but have no idea what the process realistically looks like combining nutrition cycles of "bulking" and "cutting" (i.e. cutting calorie) with training. This information is also not taught in your averge physcial education class nor explained in detail in your average gym; you really have to seek it out, and it's worth it since nutrition is 50% of achieving the end goal. Before consulting with Nolan on nutrition, I was obsessed with only "cutting" and cardio while never understanding why "bulking" is a necessary first step for some people to grow the underlying muscle. Nolan patientely took the time to educate me, promptly answer my many questions, and allay my concerns through the voice of knowledge and experience. With all the misinformation and lack of understanding of how to properly coordinate fitness and nutrition to have an end goal of achieving the gym toned look (which does take time for an inexperienced body builder), consulting nutrition with an experienced body builder is a must. Nolan is the go to guy!

I’ve only been Nolan’s nutrition for a month now and I feel amazing. I know it’s going to take me a little longer until I reach my goal but I’m confident I’ll achieve it with Nolan’s guidance. If you feel Nolan’s program isn’t working for you i guarantee it’s because you’re not 100% committed. There is no shortcuts.

I hired Nolan more for the nutrition part of the training because Ive worked with other trainers before and focus more on work out but I knew I needed a lifestyle change on my eating. And let me tell you that Nolan delivered. Honestly, at first the meal plan looked kind of “plain?” (Or maybe just some thing I’m not used to) But if you also think this way just TRUST THE PROCESS! and TRUST Nolan I promise you he knows what he’s doing. I am happy to say that he not only help me lose 13 pounds in 8 weeks but taught me How to change my eating lifestyle! I never felt like I was in a diet. I mentally kept telling myself that this is the way I should be eating. With that being said there was food that I enjoyed but was not sure if it was “for me” and as soon as I would ask him, he would respond to me in a timely manner and no matter how silly my question was he never made me feel dumb. The workouts were hard for me in the beginning but I would push through even if it would take me over an hour. Little by little I would get better and better but definitely the nutrition part of Nolan is very knowledgeable. I did the eight week program with meal plan and work out. Again I am happy with my results with the guidance and most importantly it was not just for eight weeks but it was a lifestyle change and learning experience.

I was in a tough spot with my weight, discipline and motivation a couple months ago but my wife and I decided to do a 3 month plan with Nolan to learn how to eat right and utilize the gym equipment we have invested in over the years! The experience has simply been life changing! For years I used quick remedies like low calorie protein shakes to try to lose weight but failed keeping it off because I never learned how to eat to lose weight and build muscle. With Nolan’s nutritional guidance, workouts, and weekly check-ins, I have the accountability I need and have lost 20lbs since late March. I look forward to the workouts, don’t feel hungry at all, and love the renewed energy I have! I plan to keep, invest in more months with Nolan to get to my goals!     I prefer to collect as much information from the client pertaining to the customer's goals, lifestyle, current nutrition/training regimen (if applicable), and stats (height,weight,progress photos) before getting started.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a bachelor's degree from Florida International University in Interdisciplinary Studies. While completing my degree, I obtained several college credits in science courses pertaining to biology, physiology, and nutrition. I am also an ISSA Certified Elite Trainer, ISSA Certified Nutritionist, ISSA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, and ISSA Certified Specialist in Bodybuilding.
