FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading the trades and attend a variety of trade related seminars. I belong to a few Photo Guilds throughout South Fla and offer classes and seminars. The internet is a valuable source of information with technology updates and trends.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always be aware of scams and the wanna be photographers. My background, beside being an artist, is also as a certified photographic specialist in the trade. I see these types all the time. A camera does not make you a photographer, a camera just makes you camera owner. Research, ask pertinent questions and make your decision based, not on price, but on character and the quality of service they can offer.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Photography, anyone can shoot. We all have our smart phones with high pixel sensors. But, it takes more than pointing a camera at the subject and pressing a button. Cost of equipment, maintenance, upgrades, insurance for damage, time with the clients, any post production work.....this is cost. Please think about that when submitting quotes for a specific job. You do get what you pay for.
