- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private lessons at our Kendall studio with one of our instructors are discounted from the usual $50 that a National Guild of Piano Teacher would charge, to $35 per half hour. (Up to $175 saving per month) Private lessons with me (Ms. Viviana Diaz) at my home studio are $40 per half hour lesson. First Lesson is $35 There is No Contract. (You can discontinue lessons whenever you'd like) Registration is Free ($85 value)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to schedule your first lesson for student and instructor to meet, discuss lessons and try it out! 🙂 No obligation to register. The Instructor will let you know what to expect from lessons and give you an orientation as well as listen to your musical goals to help you achieve them. If you have previously taken lessons you can have an evaluation to see in what level you should continue your training. We also offer an exclusive ONLY to Miami Music Stars Inc. students.... Piano vs. Keyboard orientation from the prestigious Steinway & Son's Piano Gallery in Coral Gables FL. If you need to purchase a piano. There is also a Rental Program where you can rent your piano for 6 months (that should be enough time to see if your child is serious about lessons! 😉) After 6 months you can return the piano OR put everything you paid towards the purchase!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching for 32 years, I have effectively taught thousands of students, both children and adults. I have worked as a music school teacher in private institutions and as a private instructor. I have done music studio management, event coordination, and more. I currently am; Chairperson of The National Guild of Piano Teachers American College of Musicians in Miami-Dade FL. Superintendent of The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair's Performing Arts Piano Solo Competitions at FIU's Wertheim's Performing Arts Center. Member of Miami Music Teacher's National Association.
