About
My name is Devon Pruett, I've been tuning pianos and coaching music for 35y in the South Florida area. In addition to all piano technician services I offer quality pitch raises and repairs to make your instrument sound new again.
As a musician I enjoy playing and coaching with lesson plans for all levels tailored to each individual person. Furthermore along with the traditional "learning to play a song" I train students to play new music on the cusp by reading and playing by ear using any style of music.
As a University of Miami music graduate I work with all ages and abilities. In addition I have experience and enjoy working with special needs as a Music Therapy where students simultaneus sharpen life long skills through playing, singing & rhythm training with all types of music.

I had contacted a number of piano tuners for my church, and he was the only one who responded quickly. Devon set an appointment with me for the next day. He stayed in contact with me to let me know his arrival. When he showed up, it was like connecting with an old friend. He was quite personable, knowledgeable, and he didn't rush his process. I would highly recommend him for his musical services.

Ive had my piano tuned once a year for the last 25 years with Devon and he is always professional and punctual with great communication on timing reminders and piano suggestions.
Recently, I tried a local piano company's tuning service (as Devon was out of town) they charged more and they sent a rookie that made the piano sound horrible. Devon was able to fix the other tuners mistakes and get my piano sounding awesome again.
In Miami he does the best job and is the most affordable and consistently reliable in timing(which is important to me)

Devon tuned my piano once a year for the last 15 years, and always fills the house with welcome music before and after his tuning.
Devon is always punctual and sends great reminders on his timing. I met him through friends in the area who take piano lessons with him.
