We are WillyPop Music+Production. We are a group of music producers, writers, arrangers and musicians dedicated to providing the very best record production for independent acts in the world. Some people are confused as to what music producers do so let me explain. We do not invest our own money on new talent. That's what movie producers do. This is not a charity, it's a business. We don't invest in you, you invest in you. We simply make your dream come true. You hire us and we create the product that you then sell online (iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby) and promote via live performances. Music producers work for a per song fee, 3 songs minimum to write, arrange, record, mix, master and release a song or songs that give you the best possible chance of succeeding in the new music business. Yes, it's expensive. No, it's not like $3,000 a song, that's a demo and we don't do that. And no it's not even twice that much, it's more. Because making a hit, a real hit costs money. The question becomes, how badly do you want to succeed in the music business? What are you willing to do? When you make a demo, you go 25% of the way toward your vision and basically end up killing your own drive to succeed by attaching unrealistic expectations to a crappy sounding product. My name is Willy Perez-Feria and I'm the president of WillyPop Productions and WillyPop Music (a publishing company) and I have 25 years of experience in the music industry. I worked for 15 years as a writer and producer with Estefan Productions (FIPP) Gloria and Emilio Estefan's company writing songs for every large pop star of the time! For the last 8 years I've been signed with Universal Music, the biggest music company in the world, and I've had the honor of working with some truly giant acts as well as producing some really gifted independent acts and helping them launch their careers! I work with the best writers, arrangers, musicians, engineers, mixers, mastering pros and finally with the best distributors of independent music in Miami. I have a package that is had to beat, a soup to nuts deal that's been prove time and again. Like I said, it's expensive and it's not your typical $3,000 demo, which sounds awful and is a waste of $3,000. Professional records cost $30,000 - $40,000 to make typically and, if you're working with the top producers in the business (Timbaland), can cost up to $500,000 a track. But I found a way to deliver first rate quality for less than the typical price, thanks largely to cutting the price of studio costs out of the production costs all together! I work with the musicians own recording setups. I track the lead vocals in my own private studio, and I mix and master locally with the best engineer in the business. All of that drastically cuts the cost while still delivering the awesome sound that will break you into the business.
