I am especially grateful for the Torah direction Phil J has provided to my girls. He has helped us change the way we respond to life. We have gained insight and knowledge about Torah as never before. PhilJ is always available. With patience, wisdom and gentleness he guides us. What a gift to have our own personal Rabbi and we don't even live in a Jewish community.

We had a phone counseling session with Dr. Alcide. We had this scheduled, he was prompt and patient with our questions and discussion. He was thoughtful to our dilemma and offered different suggestions for us to contemplate. He has a very well rounded area of expertise and we are grateful that he could help us. We feel that we couldn't get any better counseling anywhere else. He was not hurried nor did he ever discount our situation. We were very pleased and happy with this service. Thank you!

I contacted Dr Philj Alcide for counselling services. I had been overwhelmed by some activities of my teenage son, and Dr Philj was glad to help. The sessions took place via telephone and I was so impressed by the results in my home that Dr Philj continues to counsel us in family services, including marriage counselling that produce tremendous insight and perspective that lead to a more peaceful atmosphere here in our home. Dr Philj is always prompt and forthcoming, even taking the time to give reminders of upcoming meetings as well as making follow up calls. I give Outstanding rating due to the professionalism and the comfortable settings.

We love dr Phil And look forward to his weekly visits As a couple coming from two very different cultures the work we do with dr Phil is very effective He teaches and helps change behaviors from the past I feel so much happier not depressed and able to communicate better with my husband I think he can help anyone if you're open and willing and consistent because it's really a learning curve and technique for you yourself to do and take on at home Like changing your eating and lifestyle to lose weight it's not a temporary thing and to understand that and be all in Is what it takes. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have standard fees, which is typical of seasoned professionals. I always find a way to work with people based on their budget. My primary goal is to serve my clients. I offer a nice discount to recurring and returning clients. Beware of professionals that charge a significantly low price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally I meet with the client to discuss the needs and explore possible options. Then we discuss feasibility based on family budget, time, and other factors. Then considerations are made. The main goal is to help the client solve the existing situation. Thus, money is never an obstacle if the client is inclined to use my services. Regardless of the client’s budget, I strive to provide the best quality of work possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.), I keep up with research and technical developments in my field. I attend professional conferences not only in Psychology but also in Medicine, Technology, Education, and other related fields.
