- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Buttercream cakes start at $4 per serving. Fondant cakes start at $5 per serving. Price does Increase based on number of tiers and complexity of design. Delivery fees apply based on distance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Providing as much information up front as possible is key. Number of servings needed, date of event, time of event, delivery or pickup, flavors, cake design/style, etc... providing all of this information will allow for a quick and accurate quote. I usually respond to my new clients pretty quickly. Email is the best method of contact as it allows me to refer back to requests and keep all information in one place.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always doing research. I think it's important to stay up to date with current trends in the baking world. I talk to other bakers and Google has become my best friend when it comes to researching ideas or trends.
