Roof Repair or Maintenance

It hasn’t rained since the repair so we can’t speak to the work. We are certain he will come back if there is a problem.

Roof Repair or Maintenance

Mr. Tim Stewart made contact with me reference my request. I advised him what I needed done. Mr. Stewart came out the same day, explained what the problem was and was able to take care of the problem with my roof immediately. Mr. Stewart was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional and cost of repair was reasonable. I would highly recommend Salt Roofing.

Roof Repair or Maintenance

Nothing negative to say about Salt Roofing. Great quote and great work at about half the cost of another vendor quoting through Thumbtack. Couldn't be happier.

Roof Repair or Maintenance

Good experience so far. They haven't started work on the roof yet because we have gotten the go ahead from the HOA, but they seem to be very knowledgeable in working with the insurance company and how to get everything done.

Roof Installation or Replacement

Gentleman came out promptly. Went up on the roof and said you have damage and can claim on insurance. I don’t particularly want to claim on insurance and get dropped or have my premium go up. Never sent quote.
Salt Roofing's reply
Good Morning Mr. Haubert, I hope that this correspondence finds you well. My name is George Romano one of the owners of Salt Roofing. I am writing in response to your review of our Project Manager Steve Pate. I spoke with Steve this morning regarding your roofing project, your concern that that he never sent a quote, and that your property had some form of storm damage. As a reliable and honest company I can assure you that Steve would never suggest making a claim if he didn't feel it was in your best interest. We also understand that customers have concerns over filing a claim due to the unwarranted repercussions from the insurance industry, and we would never mislead a customer. On Tuesday, April 13, 2020 Steve met with you at your property and evaluated your roof. Following the evaluation he suggested that you file an insurance claim due to wind damage. You voiced your concerns to Steve regarding your lack of interest in filing a claim with your insurance company and requested a cash estimate. On Thursday, April 15, 2020 at 9:45 am our Production Manager Nita sent a cash estimate to haubertj@gmail.com from her email nita@saltenterprisesllc.com . I sincerely apologize if you did not receive the estimate and that we did not follow up with a phone call. I assure you that it was not our intention to not revisit your project and follow up with some type of verbal and written correspondence. Based on your evaluation we are revisiting our follow-up policy to ensure that customers are taken care of in a timely and professional manner. If you have time I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you regarding your experience and hopefully convince you that Salt Roofing does not warrant a 2 Star rating. When you have the time would you please contact me directly at 407-535-1427. I would love to speak with you regarding your concerns. I would like to thank you for your evaluation regardless of the number of stars. Without honest and reliable evaluations it is impossible to make adjustment to our business and continue to improve our customer service. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Sincerely, George Romano

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Typically, roof replacements are priced by the square and can be impacted by the pitch of the roof, the number of roofs installed, the complexity - multi stories or single etc. We would like to give an average price per square, but we do not want to mislead if you have special circumstances with your roof. That is why it is best to have a professional look at it, to give you the best and most accurate price.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We like to see your roof and look at the conditions around your home. We will schedule time with you to do this, and then give you an estimate immediately. There are a lot of things to consider when getting a new roof, and we want to make sure that we are there to help guide you through the process. There is never a charge for our estimates.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our training is on going, we are always being trained by our suppliers and manufacturers for proper installation procedures, as well as safety and overall customer satisfaction.
