I am a recently retired flight attendant with past pet sitting experience. I have 2 Maltese dogs and know how difficult it can be to find caring adults to watch and care for my pets. One of my Maltese has special needs and I decided to retire early to be home for my dogs. I love pets and will care for yours as if they are my own. I can walk your pet, feed your pet and watch your pet. I have been watching pets for many years and am new to thumbtack.
Currently I am not boarding pets but I am doing pet walks and visits. Each visit is $25 for a standard 30-60 minute visit. This is my baseline pricing and multiple pets can be more. Pricing will vary by number of pets and travel distance to your location.
I offer a complimentary meet and greet and if I am a good match for your pet/pets, I can add you to my schedule.
I currently accept Venmo and Cash as my form of payment. Payment is due at completion of service.

We have never left our pets for any length of time and were very nervous . We higher recommend Ellen. She was amazing and took great care of our pets. (Two cats and a rabbit). We also have wildlife we like to take care of and Ellen was happy to oblige . Feeding squirrels , birds and even a stray cat that comes by daily. She couldn’t have been more accommodating in every way.

Ellen is fantastic! I reached out to her last minute, as I was going on a work trip. I needed her to come by and let out my senior dog Kallie during the day. She showed up for 5 days straight, taking Kallie for a walk around the neighborhood. When finished, Ellen recapped how Kallie was doing, how the walk went and if there was anything concerning to speak of. The recap she provided every day gave me a sense of peace, knowing my dog was well taken care of. I couldn’t ask for a more professional service with Ellen, she is simply the best!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$25 per visit for walking and feeding
$60 per night for dog sitting discount for multiple pets. For example, 2 pets are $100 a night.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would set up a meet & greet to meet you and your pet and discuss your pet's needs and your expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began watching pets as a teenager. Mostly watching neighbors pets. I also watched pets for my clients while I was a hairstylist. Most recently I started to watch neighbors pets.
