- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We don’t believe in surprise fees or slippery estimates. At Ray the Mover, you choose how you want to move: $150/hour for two men and a truck – best for small jobs. Flat-rate guaranteed pricing – best for full-service moves, local or long-distance. With our guaranteed quote, the price we give is the price you pay—no hidden charges, no game-playing
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by learning the details of your move—where, when, and what needs to be moved. From there, you can either: 1. Get a flat-rate quote by scheduling a quick visit from our sales team, or 2. Choose hourly labor if your move is small or flexible. Once scheduled, our team confirms all details in writing, shows up on time, and keeps communication clear throughout the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our leadership has over 40 years in the moving and logistics industry. Our crews are full-time, trained in-house, and held to high standards. We don’t outsource your move to third parties. Every team member is background-checked and trained in safe handling, packing, and high-value item care—because we know trust is earned, not assumed.
