- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It depends on the project. Some projects are by the square foot, by time on the project or the job itself.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet in person, discuss what is wanted, likes and dislikes. Look at the project, take measurements and or pictures and send a written estimate. If it is accepted then we draw up a contract, determine a deposit and start. If permits and inspections are necessary, that is discussed prior to the signing of the contract and any $$ being exchanged. Upon successful completion, final payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Residential and commercial construction train working for the union and my family. For schooling, Estimating, blue print reading and mechanical drafting.
