Introduction: Are you sitting at home and wondering what you are doing with your life? When was the last time you wrote down five short term and long term goals? Are you someone that talks about change, but never seem to implement it? Have you tried to quit, but can never stayed quit from your addiction? I decided to enter this field to help people with addiction issues as I am a person in recovery for over a decade.I understand the pain the addicted person goes through and understand that there is a solution. If you are sick and tired of the way your life is going, I am here to empower you to change. We specialize in assessing clients through efficient substance abuse, sexual addiction, mental health, and anger management assessments to provide the proper group, family, individual and couples counseling. I use a goal oriented treatment style that blends CBT and reality therapy that has been very effective in saving lives. Our practice caters to the individual needs of our clients. We believe in empowering our clients through self awareness, life skills, goal achievement, and developing an attitude of no longer being the victim to your addiction. We offer evening hours.

We took our daughter to see Dr. Glaza due to issues that she has been having over the course of the last few years. Upon meeting with her, Dr. Glaza recommended that she take the PAI assessment which he administers. Once he completed the assessment, it was literally like a huge gate opened up and everything finally made sense. Every area of her assessment was spot on. If you are a parent or if you are personally having troubles, I cannot recommend this assessment enough. My daughter has a very long road ahead of her but at least we know what is causing it now. She was misdiagnosed before and was put on meds that were actually harming her mind instead of helping her heal it. Dr. Glaza showed compassion, knowledge, reassurance and a will to fight for the well being of my child. I cannot say enough how thankful I am.

I went in for an evaluation for a custody battle and came out with a health and wellness plan. DR. GLAZA is very thorough and writes your side of the story well for court. He also thinks about your children and offers counseling after the "strorm" of court is over. He really cares. I highly recommend this team of professionals when your in need of proving to the courts or your x your position. Best of luck.

Good place look forward to going to aftercare. I wish they accepted my insurance so I could afford more individual counseling, but sometimes you get what you pay for! The providers were better than my Blue Cross provider in Sarasota.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$75 per hour to $125 per hour $30 dollar per group $125 per hour for grop Do you accept insurance? We no longer accept insurance payments. In order in protect your privacy and ensure continued quality of care, Tri-County Counseling & Life Skills Center Inc. does not participate with insurances and managed care. Fees are paid at the time of your visit. At your request a receipt with a diagnosis will be provided for you. If desired, you may present this receipt to your insurance company to attempt to obtain reimbursement. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER and AMERICAN EXPRESS.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients call and make appointment and we find the ideal therapist that would best fit for the individual, then we send out paperwork electronically (Save the trees) so we can save time and not make clients wait on initial visits. Then we do a clinical interview and identify a treatment plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everyone that works at Tri-County Counseling has at least a bachelor's degree. Doctor Glaza and Doctor Cerbone are licensed psychotherapist in the state of Florida and have experience in treating substance abuse, mental health, TBI, sexual dysfunction, and other issues.
