Mathematics K-12 Tutoring

Hello! My name is Sara Mae Farro, and I am a dedicated Mathematics Tutor with a Bachelor’s Degree of Education, major in Mathematics, graduated Cum Laude. I bring with me 12 years of classroom teaching experience, having taught Mathematics from 3rd Grade through High School, which has given me a strong ability to adapt lessons to different learning levels. In 2023, I was recognized as one of the top-performing Algebra 1 teachers in my school, Piedmont Lakes Middle School, a reflection of my commitment to student success and data-driven instruction. Beyond content mastery, I take pride in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and enjoy the challenge of mathematics. As a professional, I am patient, approachable, and highly organized, with strong skills in differentiated instruction, classroom management, and integrating technology into lessons. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students achieve academic excellence but also to inspire a genuine appreciation for mathematics as a tool for lifelong learning.
