- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer I like to give a set pricing list so that they can get a ballpark idea of my pricing. I then like to discuss variables, interests, and specifics of what they would like and maybe what they haven't thought of that can affect the item (what will the weather be like, is the event outdoor or indoor, is it for kids or adults? Etc. ) so that we can narrow down the perfect item that fits their concept and price range.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management as well as experience working in bakeries and business dining.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I made a cake for a client for his girlfriend's birthday, and set it up complete with room decor for a surprise proposal! He contacted me the next day saying he wanted to actually save the cake for an engagement party that weekend where I came to do some "touch-up" services on site for the cake.
